[edit] Routing
From its southern terminus at U.S. 1/S.R. 4 south of Lyons, S.R. 29 travels northwest cosigned with S.R. 15 to Vidalia. After heading west, briefly cosigned with U.S. 280/S.R. 30, State Routes 29 and 15 continue northwest to Soperton. S.R. 29 splits from S.R. 15, and continues northwest from Soperton, and meets Interstate 16 northwest of the city at exit 67. Continuing northwest, the route becomes cosigned with State Route 86 to U.S. 80/S.R. 26, where S.R. 86 meets its northern terminus. S.R. 29, however, becomes cosigned with U.S. 80/S.R. 26, and eventually, U.S. 319/S.R. 31, west to Dublin. In Dublin, S.R. 29 departs the other routes and travels northwest, cosigned with U.S. 441. North of Milledgeville, S.R. 24 intersects the route, and continues north cosigned with U.S. 441, while S.R. 29 meets its northern terminus.
