Georgia Bulldogs football under Herman Stegeman

Herman Stegeman coached the Georgia Bulldogs for three seasons from 1920 to 1922. Over the course of those three seasons, he lead the Bulldogs to a combined 20-6-37 record and the team's second conference championship.

The 1920 Georgia Bulldogs football team had an 8-0-1 record and also co-champion of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association.[1] This was the Georgia Bulldogs' first season under the guidance of head coach Herman Stegeman and the team's second undefeated season in its history.

The 1921 Georgia Bulldogs football team had an 7-2-1 record, with the only two losses coming against two of the football powerhouses of the day, Harvard and Dartmouth. This was the team's second season under the guidance of head coach Herman Stegeman.

The 1922 Georgia Bulldogs football team had an 5-4-1 record and was the first Georgia team to compete in the newly formed Southern Conference, which was formed when a group of teams left the SIAA after the end of the 1921 season. This was the Georgia's third and final season under the guidance of head coach Herman Stegeman.
