[edit] History

George Williams was Van De Kamp family pharmacist since at least 2001, who started to have a relationship with Bree after she found out that Rex was having an extra-marital affair with Maisy Gibbons. Things were going extremely well until Bree shot off his toe (by accident) with a gun that was given to her as a gift by George. He returned after a short absence and started to lust after Bree. Rex immediately took offense to his advances on his wife and it culminated with him being pushed into a pool at Carlos Solis's going-away party. It had been found out that he is obsessed with Bree, as can be noted by the scene showing him watching surveillance footage of her, and had been doing anything in his power to destroy the Van De Kamps' already rocky marriage. He is now responsible for the death of Rex Van De Kamp through his tampering with Rex's prescription drugs.

After Rex's death, George attempted to move in on Bree and have sex with her, but it was revealed that she still felt a great deal of subconscious guilt and attachment to Rex, which manifested itself in an itchy rash on Bree's skin. While on a vacation with Bree, George attempted to drug Bree by talking her into taking her antihistamines (which she took for her rash) with alcohol. It appeared as though George thought better of taking advantage of Bree in this way, but after Bree came to, he told Bree that he won't wait for too much longer, thereby finally getting Bree into bed. George proposed to Bree and she agreed to the marriage (though it is possible she was pressured into it). After Bree had told George about her chat with Dr. Goldfine in which he suggest she and George had been moving their relationship too fast. In retaliation, George stalked the doctor on his daily exercise path and beat him up, he then threw him over a bridge. (Dr. Goldfine survived but was injured. In a conversation with Bree, two episodes later, Dr. Goldfine mentions that the attackers bike was blue- Bree realizes that George rides a blue bike and called the police to report her suspicions.)

After the bridge incident, George started to become rather possessive. He objected to the fact that Bree was reluctant to wear her engagement ring, and was angry that she still believed the relationship was moving too quickly. Bree, in turn, became annoyed when she saw her engagement to George announced in the newspaper. This announcement led an ex-fiancée of George's to Bree's house, where she warned Bree that George was quite unstable, and not the type of person to have a relationship with. At first, Bree dismissed her, refusing to believe what she said about George. Later, while Bree and George were out at dinner, they ran into Bree's old college boyfriend, Ty Grant. Ty asked Bree for a dance, to which she agreed, much to George's dismay. It was at this point that Bree told George that the engagement was off. In retaliation, George stole Ty's valet ticket from his jacket, sped off in his car (which appears to be a Porsche), took it out to some remote location, and set it on fire.

Bree was eventually getting stalked by George who tried to get her back by singing to her in front of her house during a dinner party, Bree took out a shotgun and blew out the speaker as a result. George then found out he was being closed in on by the police who had begun searching his house after Bree told the cops her suspicions about George's involvement in Dr. Goldfine's attack. George retreated to a hotel room (in the same hotel where Bree was co-hosting a charity event) and proceeded to stalk Bree by giving her a note, he then overdosed on sleeping pills (when he knew Bree was coming to see him) which ultimately led to his death. George begged Bree to call an ambulance, but she had just received a call from the police saying they had evidence that George was responsible for Rex's death. She told George that she had called while he was sleeping, and then sat and watched him die.
