George Tod

George Tod was a British surveyor and hot-house builder, provides color illustrations and descriptions of 26 "glass houses," chiefly of his own design, in this 1823 publication. The text presents plans, elevations and sections of hot-houses, green-houses, an aquarium and conservatories built in different parts of England for various noblemen and gentlemen, including a hot-house and green-house in Her Majesty's gardens at Frogmore.
