George Sanders (writer)

George Sanders is the author of the novel A Stranger Came Home upon which the 1954 English film A Stranger Came Home, directed by Terence Fisher and starring numerous well known British actors as well as American actor Paulette Goddard, was based.
The novel is actually credited by The British Film Institute to George Sanders, the British film actor. However, the Internet Movie Database refers to George Sanders the writer as "George Sanders III", distinct from George Sanders the actor, or "George Sanders I".
