George Regas

George Regas (November 9, 1890 - December 13, 1940) was a Greek/American actor.
Born in Sparta, Greece, he was the brother of actor Pedro Regas. He was a stage actor in Athens before coming to the U.S. as Romeo in a Grecian version of Romeo and Juliet, which he performed in New York. In 1932, he made his only appearance in a Broadway theatre play.
Regas played character parts in numerous films, many of them uncredited. Regas often played Latinos, Native Americans or Italians. He was married to actress Reine Davies, who was sister to Marion Davies.
George Regas died on December 13, 1940 in Los Angeles, California, aged 50.
