George McCloud

George McCloud (born May 27, 1967 in Daytona Beach, Florida), is an American former professional basketball player who was selected by the Indiana Pacers in the 1st round (7th overall) of the 1989 NBA Draft. A 6'6" guard-forward from Florida State University, McCloud played 12 years in the NBA from 1989-2002. He played for the Pacers, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets.
McCloud's best year as a pro came during the 1995-96 season as a member of the Mavericks, appearing in 79 games and averaging 18.9 ppg. In his NBA career, McCloud played in 766 games and scored a total of 6,925 points.
