George Kennedy (sports promoter)

George Kennedy, real name George Washington Kendall,[1] (December 29, 1881 - October 19, 1921) was a French Canadian hockey owner and sports promoter. He owned the Montreal Canadiens from 1910 to 1921.[2] He won the Stanley Cup in 1916.
He was born in Montreal, Quebec, and also died there.
