George Kalmus

George Kalmus (born 21 April 1935) is a British particle physicist.

Education: St Albans County Grammar School; University College, London.

He was Associate Director, 1986-94 and Director, 1994-97 of Particle Physics at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. He was Visiting Professor, Physics and Astronomy Department, 1984-2000, University College, London and has been a Fellow there since 1998.

He was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1988 and made a CBE in 2000.
