George Gruntz

George Gruntz (b. Basel, Switzerland, June 24, 1932) is a Swiss jazz pianist.

He has performed with such notable jazz musicians as Chet Baker, Art Farmer, Dexter Gordon, Johnny Griffin, and Rahsaan Roland Kirk. From 1972 to 1994 he served as artistic director for the JazzFest Berlin.
