From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
George Fay is an officer in the United States Army, most notable for being the lead author of an investigation into the scandal at Abu Ghraib, more commonly known as the Fay Report.
Lieutenant General Ricardo Sanchez had to ask for an officer more senior than himself to replace Fay, when it became clear that the scandal raised questions about his own role. Fay was replaced by Lieutenant General Anthony Jones.
