Georg Brunnhuber

Georg Brunnhuber (born February 18, 1948 in Oberkochen) is a German politician, member of the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). He gained a seat in the German federal parliament, the Bundestag, in 1990 and has been re-elected in 1994, 1998, 2002 and 2005.
He holds the seat of the constituency of Ostwürttemberg (eastern Württemberg), that consists of the districts of Heidenheim and Ostalbkreis in eastern Baden-Württemberg. He is also the leader of the parliamentary group of the CDU representatives from Baden-Württemberg, member of the commissions for transport and for construction and housing and deputy spokesman for transport of the CDU parliamentary faction.
He is a Catholic, married and has two daughters.
