Geoffrey Arbuthnot

Sir Geoffrey Schomberg Arbuthnot KCB, CB, DSO, Legion of Honour (18 January 1885, Havant, Hampshire - 4 October 1957) was a British Vice Admiral.

Arbuthnot, the son of Admiral Charles Ramsay Arbuthnot, was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (DSO) in 1919 and went on to serve the Royal Navy in a number of high posts. He was made Naval Aide de Camp to the King in 1936, Fouth Sea Lord of the Admiralty and Chief of Supplies and Transport in 1937, and Commander-in-Chief of the Navy's East Indies Station in 1941.

Sir Geoffrey served in World War II, being mentioned in dispatches, and was knighted in 1942, being made a Knight Commander of The Most Honourable Order of the Bath (KCB).

Sir Geoffrey was also a member of the French Legion of Honour.
