Geoffrey Malcolm Horsfield (born November 1, 1973 in Barnsley) is an English footballer who is currently on a six month loan at Leeds United from Sheffield United.

He started at Scarborough before moving to Halifax Town in April 1994. His first stint with the Shaymen was less than successful and he was released after just one season. He rejoined the club from Witton Albion in October 1996 and helped them prevent relegation to the Unibond League with a goal on the final day of the season. The following season saw the Shaymen promoted with Horsfield scoring 30 goals in 40 league games, including hat-tricks against Yeovil, Telford and Hereford.

In October 1998 he moved to Fulham for £300,000. Although never as prolific as during his non-league days, he still found the net regularly, scoring 22 goals in the league (and 9 in cup competitions) during his two seasons at the club.

He was bought by Trevor Francis during the summer of 2000 for Birmingham City, and helped them in their climb to the Premiership in season 2002/03 before moving to Wigan Athletic on the 5th September 2003. He scored on his debut for Wigan, but never settled at the club and in December 2003, moved to West Bromwich Albion for £1m. Horsfield was a vital part of West Bromwich Albion's makeup as he scored seven times in the season which brought them to the Premiership.

He signed for Sheffield United in May 2006 for a fee of £1.2 million from West Bromwich Albion despite making just 3 appearances in 4 months on loan at the Blades in the latter part of the 2005-2006 season, the last game being in February.

On August 3, 2006, Horsfield signed for Leeds United on loan until Christmas with a view to a permanent move. He made his debut on the opening Championship game of the season against Norwich at Elland Road on August 5th and scored his first goal in a 2-2 draw away at QPR three days later. Since the arrival of new manager, Dennis Wise, Horsfield has been in and out of the team and his loan is not expected to be renewed in January 2007.
