[edit] A Note on Article Title

The problem with just Simon Fraser (general) was that there are two Generals named Simon Fraser. General Simon Fraser of Balnian, and General Simon Fraser of Lovat. They are so named because there are multiple Simon Frasers of Lovat, and more than one Generals Simon Fraser, thus this seems to be a nice, clear and 2nd-nature naming scheme.
