Genpact is the pioneer of BPO industry and the largest BPO company in India. It was formerly called GE Capital International Services or GECIS.

It is Headquartered in Gurgaon in India and has offices in China, Romania, Hungary, Mexico, UK and USA.

In the December 2004, GE announced that it has sold off its 60% stake in GECIS for $500 million to two equity companies, Oak Hill Capital Partners and General Atlantic Partners. Since then the company was renamed to Genpact.

Currently it employs more than 19,000 people in various locations. Pramod Bhasin is the President and CEO of Genpact.

Genpact alone has got 25,000 highly skilled associates. The process engineers and technology specialists speak 28 languages and have their services in different parts of the world like India, China, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Mexico, Philippines and also to the USA.
