Geno is a song by Dexys Midnight Runners which reached #1 on the UK singles chart for two weeks in April 1980.

Written by Kevin Archer and Kevin Rowland, Geno was the second single from Dexys Midnight Runners and their first number one. A tribute to soul singer Geno Washington, the song's classic soul stylings was at variance with the the popular new wave and post punk sounds of the time.
