Received 2006 award for Respect for the Environment from Today's Parent Magazine [2]

Pilot site for the Provincial Action Schools program [3]. Action Schools is a provincial program to encourage physical fitness and good lifestyle choices among school age children.

General Brock also hosts the Brock Junction After School Care Program operated by the Developmental Disabilities Association. This provides social and educational opportunities for children with all types of special needs from infancy to the elementary school years.
