Genelle Williams (born on February 18, 1984 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a Canadian actress who is known for her role in the hit television show, "Radio Free Roscoe".
Williams had been preparing to become an actress since she was little, and she studied acting with Dean Armstrong, who played one of the principal characters in Showtime's television series, "Queer as Folk".
Williams became famous in Canada when she joined the cast of Radio Free Roscoe , which was a hit in Canada from 2002 to 2004. In 2003, she played Kim Carlisle, a DJ for "Cougar Radio", and love interest of Robert McGrath.
After joining Radio Free Roscoe, she began to get roles in many other television shows, such as "Wild Card" (August 2003), and Eloise at the Plaza, where she played "Ruth".
In 2004, she received roles in other television shows, such as "This is Wonderland" (as "Kiana Lewis", in March 2004), "My Baby's Daddy", where she went uncredited as a receptionist, and "The Lazarus Child", where she played "Lizzie". Late in 2004, Nickelodeon's teenager geared channel, The N, began showing Radio Free Roscoe as well as "Degrassi: The Next Generation", and Williams began to gain celebrity status in the United States, at least among the audience that The N targets.
2005 was a year of new achievements for Williams, as, apart from her fame broadening across the United States, she was able to participate in her first film, the made-for-tv feature "More Sex & the Single Mom", as "Megan". She also acted in Sue Thomas: F.B. Eye, playing "Candy" in one episode, and in "Kevin Hill", as "Alyssa".
