Gene Bucker

Gene Bucker was born with the name Charlie Carlmichael under the parenthood of James and Ryanne Carlmichael. She later sought shelter under the pen name Gene Bucker. Under the name she published critically acclaimed, respectively:

- The Society of Renaissance Florence. New York, 1971. Excellent selection of documents.
Gene is known for her impartiality and grand comprehension of Renaissance Florence. From such topics of the Medici, to the end of the Holy Roman Empire, her works span the whole period which modern historians refer to as the Renaissance.
