Gemini is the eighth album, released in 2005, by R&B artist Brian McKnight. The leading single from the album was "Everytime You Go Away". It was released somewhat at the same time as the second single "What We Do Here". The songs have not made much impact on the charts; "What We Do Here" only reached the Top 40 and stayed there for two weeks. "Everytime You Go Away" is a smooth ballad that has his signature Quiet Storm sound but has a guitar riff which is foreign to the McKnight style.
The album has received mixed reviews. It has gone on to sell over 200,000 copies in the first two weeks of release and after that it fell off the charts. The album only reached up to number four on the Billboard Charts. The units it has sold are nothing compared to what he has sold with his previous albums. His best seller yet is Back At One, a classic album. It should be noted, however, that the album did so well without the help of videos as none of the singles have a video.
