Dragonball Z II: Gekigami Freeza (translated; Freeza the Planet Destroyer) released by Bandai in 1991 for the Japanese Famicom console. As with it's prequel the game takes the form of an RPG controlled through the use of Battle Cards. The game features the story on Namek and follows closely the story of the anime except for the fact that, like in the previous game, Tenshinhan, Yamsha and Chaotzu are not dead and they are present in your party at the beginning. Of course, if one of them happens to die, they are lost. Another slight change has been made to the battle system. If you successfully defeat your opponent you are given five cards to choose from. Turn over a card depicting an ally and you will receive a bonus. One particular point is that the game does not end at the end of the fight against Freeza but a bit before Goku turns Super Saiyajin.
This game features the same roster as the previous on but adds Vegeta in.
