My academic specialty was originally Jürgen Habermas and Martin Heidegger (which Habermas might lament), but my interests span contemporary philosophy. I'm presently in a "complex" of ethical theory, epistemology, cognitive science, and philosophical biology. (How best to bridge interests of intellectual virtue and evolutionary ethics?) But my longstanding affection for Habermas' work causes me to host a discussion group on his work (which is more or less dormant at the moment). I can be reached via that group's owner email address.
