Gazzaniga is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 km northeast of Milan and about 15 km northeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,005 and an area of 14.7 km2.[1]

The municipality of Gazzaniga contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Masserini, Orezzo , Rova , and Platz.

Gazzaniga borders the following municipalities: Albino, Aviatico, Cene, Cornalba, Costa di Serina, Fiorano al Serio, Vertova.
