Gaylesville, Alabama, is a town located in Cherokee County, Alabama. As of the 2000 census, the population of the town is 140.

Gaylesville is located at 34°16'4.778" North, 85°33'29.678" West (34.267994, -85.558244)GR1.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.9 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Gaylesville AL is .5 miles from Lake Weiss and 12 miles from Little River Canyon. Little River Canyon is the largest canyon east of the Mississippi River and is a National Park.
