GayRomeo, also known as PlanetRomeo, is an internet forum for gay, transgender and bisexual men. The site has more than 405,000 users, of whom more than 247,000 are in Germany. It started in Berlin, Germany in October 2002, and moved to Amsterdam, the Netherlands in September 2006, following to a change in German youth protection laws. It is more a site for finding (sex)dates, rather than just an internet forum. However there are also some groups where you can get to know other people with similar interests (such as movies, games, and sports).

GayRomeo is free of charge and available in German, English, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.

The site features a handy "how much time you have spent online" meter, so that you can see how many hours/weeks/months you have spent on the website as well as a "users help users" forum.

Unlike gay.com, GayRomeo features intuitive searches by physical characteristics such as height, build, genital size, etc. The site has also recently added the ability to search based on profession, etc.
