[edit] Dragostea Din Tei

I've just removed it from this category. There has been some discussion as to whether or not it should be considered a 'gay anthem' on the article talk page. No consensus has been reached there.

Personally I believe that theres no 'facts' backing up that it is a gay anthem. The performers of the song are apparantely homosexuals, but that in itself doesn't make it a gay anthem.

Of course, if any hard evidence can be presented to state it is one, listing it here would become no problem. Hedley 21:44, 24 Apr 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Eurovision songs

I notice there are 3 songs here from Eurovision (out of 14 total listed). I just wonder whether this is a bit odd especially since wikipedia (well the English version) tends to have a strong American bios. I wonder whether perhaps someone from Europe added all 3 or perhaps since these songs tend to get less traffic and are not known that well by many wikipedians, they haven't been removed as ruthlessly. The fact that there are only 14 songs here suggests to me it is the later since I would guess there are significantly more songs that are considered gay anthems by enough people that they should be listed...
