Gavin Swankie (born November 22, 1983 in Arbroath, Scotland) is a footballer, currently playing as a Midfielder for Dundee in the Scottish First Division.

Swankie signed for the Dundee after his contract at Arbroath ended having come through the youth ranks at Gayfield. He made 73 starts for Arbroath as well as 32 substitute appearances scoring seven goals.

Gavin was delighted to sign for the Dundee and said "I really like the club, I've always liked Dundee and I've known a few boys who've been here, like Jon Voight. I've heard good things about Dundee. St Johnstone's interest sounded decent but Dundee were the first club to come in and speak to me. Ever since then I'd had my heart set on coming here."
