Gavem

Gavem or Gevim (Heb. גבים "hollows where rainwater collects") is an Israeli kibbutz in the Negev, near Sederot. Gavem was established in 1947, and served as a headquarters for the Israel Defense Forces during the 1948 Arab-Israeli War. The population was about 360.

In Beersheba there is Gevim school.
