I am a music maniac - an armchair anthropologist - apart from being a full time student. Maybe thats a less than complete description of who I am, but nevertheless, you did get something. I wish I spent more time editing, vandalizing (hehe) and creating pages on Wikipedia, but somehow, time slips by.

As someone whose future lies in academia, I firmly believe in the power of Wikipedia and the Wiki networks. Wikis have come under fire in recent months in the media, and ever since their inception in the academic world. I believe that, like science, Wikis can ultimately be a self-correcting medium to transmitting information. My hope is that they will always be free from government restrictions and other oppressive control.

I spend my time mostly in Davis, CA and in San Diego, CA.
