Gattico is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Novara in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 100 km northeast of Turin and about 30 km north of Novara. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 3,267 and an area of 16.1 km².^[1]

The municipality of Gattico contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Maggiate Superiore and Maggiate Inferiore.

Gattico borders the following municipalities: Borgomanero, Comignago, Invorio, Oleggio Castello, Paruzzaro, and Veruno.
