Gateway School District

The Gateway School District is a public school district in Monroeville, Pennsylvania.
The district employs more than 565 staff members to serve more than 4,300 students in Monroeville and Pitcairn.
All students in the district attend Gateway High School for the high school grades, Gateway Middle School for grades seven and eight, and Moss Side Middle School for grades five and six.
Depending on the location of their home, students in kindergarten through grade four attend Evergreen Elementary, Moss Side Elementary, Pitcairn Elementary, Ramsey Elementary, or University Park Elementary.
In 2006, the school is intended to complete its reconstruction and expansion of the high school complex. This complex includes the Monroeville Public Library, Pete Antimarino sports complex, the high school, the middle school, and administration building. The completion is expected to be delayed.
The school mascot is the Gateway Gator, a stylized alligator.

The school district sponsors a AAAA football program. It also includes basketball, soccer, track, cross country, volleyball, tennis, swimming, wrestling, and golf teams.

The principal is Mr. William Short. Assistant principals are Mr. Daniel Clara and Mr. Anthony Aqulio.
Guidance Office
The school employs several competent guidance counselors who work under Dr. Michael Gibson.
