I am a new user. A friend made me aware of a page called Gary mayne which appears to depict a competition I entered. I have no idea who created it, but I will not complain.

I am a keen athlete and have competed at county level. As such, in response to comments made by the user known as 'MacRusgail', I would say I am not a "non-notable athlete". In addition to athletics, I enjoy playing squash, football and badminton.

Away from sport, I am currently studying physics, maths and chemistry. Next year, I intend to study physics at university.

If you're notable, perhaps you can tell us what awards you have? I play sports, but since I do it for fun, and not at a high level, I don't deserve a mention as an "athlete". --MacRusgail 16:15, 20 October 2005 (UTC)
