Gary McGuire

James Gary McGuire (born September 30, 1938 in Campsall, Yorkshire) was an English professional football goalkeeper.

Although born in Yorkshire, Gary McGuire joined Torquay United in February 1966 from Australian side Hakoah, taking his chance to replace Terry Adlington when he was out of the side with a broken finger. He had previously played for Walthamstow Avenue in the 1961 FA Amateur Cup Final.

He went on to play 32 times for Torquay before leaving league football, playing in turn for non-league sides Bedford Town and Hastings United.
