Gary J. Anderson

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Gary J. Anderson is a Canadian farmer and politician who has twice run for the Liberal Party of Canada in the riding of Regina—Lumsden—Lake Centre. Anderson raises Limousin beef cattle in Bethune, Saskatchewan, outside of Regina. With his wife Karen, he has four children. In the 2004 federal election, Anderson lost to Conservative Party candidate Tom Lukiwski by little over a hundred votes. Anderson has decided to challenge Lukiwski again in the 2006 election. However, Conservative MP Larry Spencer ran as an independent in that election, potentially hurting the Conservatives. The NDP, which is once again represented by Moe Kovatch is also strong in the riding.
