Gary Hemming

Gary Hemming (b. 1933, d. 1969) was a noted American Alpinist (mountaineer). He was a partner of John Harlin and Royal Robbins (American Direct route on the Drus), widely known in 1966 in France for his role as heroic rescuer of a party on the Petit Drus, a mountain in the Pennine Alps in the Mt.
