Gary Cohen is a professional football player who joined Grimsby Town on a season-long loan deal from Scottish Second Division side Gretna.
The pacy striker enjoyed a successful stint on loan at Unibond side Workington last season where he found the net 20 times and finished as the clubs top scorer, helping them to gain promotion to the Conference North. He started his career as a trainee at Watford but never played a first team match. He then teamed up with current Yeovil Town boss Russell Slade at Scarborough before moving north to Gretna. Cohen signed permanently for the Mariners in April 2006 and was named the Grimsby Town Supporters' Young Player of the Year for the 2005-06 season.
