Gary Brackett

Gary Brackett (born May 23, 1980) is a middle linebacker in the NFL who plays for the Indianapolis Colts. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Colts out of Rutgers University. After starring at Glassboro High School in Glassboro, NJ, he walked on to the Rutgers Football Team. By his senior year, he was captain of the defensive team and won the team's Defensive MVP honors.

During a 16-month span, starting in 2003, Brackett lost his mother, father, and brother. [1]
