Gary Beals

Gary Beals (born 22 October 1982 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada) is a Canadian singer who is best known for being the second-place finisher in the first season of the reality television series Canadian Idol. He is a resident of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
After losing to Ryan Malcolm on the show, he released a self-titled debut CD in August of 2004.
His first album, Gary Beals, entered the Canadian album charts at #9 and went to sell 170,000 copies.
He is currently working on a new album, with producer Ziggy Zigman. It is expected to be released in March of 2007.
