Garreth O'Connor (born November, 1978, in Dublin, Ireland) is an attacking midfield football player for Burnley F.C.. Born in Dublin he started out playing for Bannow Celtic where he soon caught the attention of Belvedere Boys, the well know schoolboy nursery club.

He started his senior career in 1999 with League of Ireland club Bohemians where he played for just one season, gaining an FAI Cup Runners up Medal before being snapped up on a free transfer to English League 1 side AFC Bournemouth , where he played 204 games and scored 28 times.

In May 2005 he moved on to a Bosman Transfer to Burnley of the Football League Championship and played regularly during the 2005/06 season, mainly scoring his goals from set-pieces.
