Gareth White

Gareth McNeil White was the Green Party of Canada candidate for the riding of Cambridge in the 2004 federal election and the 2006 federal election. Gareth is a Professional Engineer and a graduate of the University of Western Ontario. Gareth has been a resident of Cambridge since 1992, where he works as Chief Executive Officer of Borealis Engineering Inc, an engineering firm that supports clients across North America in the heavy industrial and mining sectors. . He is also a Board member of the Montessori School of Cambridge and a Member of Industrial Accident Prevention Association
In the 2004 federal election Gareth achieved 4.9% of the popular vote or 2505 votes, coming in 4th place behind Gary Goodyear, (Conservative) 37.1%, Janko Peric (Liberal) 36.7%, and Gary Price (New Democratic Party) 20.1%.
In the 2006 federal election Gareth faired a little bit better achieving 5.2% of the popular vote or 3022 votes, coming in 4th behind Gary Goodyear, (Conservative) 43.8%, Janko Peric (Liberal) 33.6%, and Donna Reid (NDP) 17.0%.
