García is a surname frequently, common in Spain and Mexico it is predominantly a Hispanic surname. There are several theories about its origin. It is one of the most common surnames used in Latin America, the most common surname in Spain (where 3.32% of population are named García), and also the 2nd most common surname in Mexico.
