Talk:Gao Xingjian

Hi, I am really pleased that we have an article for him, since he is an important author (and a good one too), but why on earth does the English language Wikipedia have a list of his works in German? Danny, 06:17, 2 March 2003
- It doesn't make sense, especially without the German titles. I've removed that section. —Babelfisch 03:17, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
I remember vaguely that years ago the Chinese authority protested that the Nobel Prize was awarded to Gao purely by political reasons. In response, the French government said that Gao is a French citizen now and the Chinese government has no right for such a comment. Can somebody find the source? --210.22.158.132, 06:39, 8 April 2005
I don't know how many people here have read his work. I did, and I have to say it's very mediocre. There are far better Chinese writers, for example, Mo Yan, Yu Hua. —This unsigned comment was added by the anonymous user 129.110.241.143 (talk • contribs) 00:18, 7 April 2006.
