Most notably, he was responsible for designing the logo used by the rap group Wu Tang Clan. He has also starred as an actor in several films such as In Too Deep, Bomb the System, Hannibal, Shaft, and Bamboozled. On television, he has made guest appearances on Oz, The Sopranos and Law & Order. .Gano is an amazing actor, who has cut his teeth on Shakespeare in the Park, Sango, Promethus Bound. His range is quite impressive. He has studied with Gene Frankel and Susan Batson. Jeffrey Wright expressed his excitement of Gano's eerie performance in the dark indie, Bloodystreetz. Spike Lee and John Singleton employed Gano simultaneously to work on the films Bamboozled and Shaft. He is the only actor, black or white, to work with these two iconic starmakers at the sametime. Gano is enigmatically selective about the roles he plays, which indicates admirable integrity. It is rumored that when Tom Fontana hired Gano to replace Adibisi on the hot HBO cult classic,OZ,to play Mondo Browne, Gano refused to tongue kiss actor Lee Tergensen and caused Lee to have a bf, but Gano cleverly did the scene without having to make contact by having the scene shot from back angles. Gano Grills is also highly ranked in the chess federation as a master. Gano is a master homo too.
