[edit] Fair Use rationale

This image is lacking a fair use rationale. The uploader has been notified on this date. -- ReyBrujo 19:42, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Uhh... I don't quite understand what you want. I guess that's okay, I'm sure someone else can find a better image for the article. --Phred Levi 00:44, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
In example, in every image you upload and use a fair use tag you need to use a text like the following:

== Fair use for [[ARTICLE NAME]] ==
This image, picture-fair-use.jpg, is being linked here; though the picture is subject to copyright I (~~~) feel it is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

  1. it is a low resolution screenshot of a game;
  2. it does not limit the copyright owner's rights to sell the game in any way;
  3. copies could not be used to make illegal copies of the game artwork on another game media;
  4. there is no available free version of this image.
Don't put the blockquotes nor the nowikis nor the br, and replace ARTICLE NAME with the article where the image is being used, and picture-fair-use.jpg with the name of the picture. You need to add this header in the image page, once per every article in which the image is being used. Also, in the article where the image is being used, add the comment <!-- FAIR USE of IMAGENAME.jpg: see image description page at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:IMAGENAME.jpg for rationale --> (without the nowikis) before or after the link to the image, replacing IMAGENAME.jpg with the name of the image.
I hope this makes the fair use rationale rule clear, if not, you can contact me at my talk page. -- ReyBrujo 01:11, 24 April 2006 (UTC)
