- Lightning Joust (Royal Saber): Attacks the opponent with his lance. Since his lance is more like a light saber in nature, he extends the blade like the OZ-13MS Gundam Epyon to cut down multiple foes in one strike.
- Shield of the Just (Final Elysium): Fires an energy beam from his shield.

He is a member of the Royal Knights but because he questioned the intentions of the host computer, Yggdrasil, he acted individually. He tried to convince his close friend Omnimon that they were being used and that their Lord Yggdrasil's Project Ark was more than it seemed but Omnimon refused to hear it. The two Knights engaged in a brief battle in which Gallantmon was killed as a result; from his final words, it seemed like his impalement on Omnimon's blade was intentional. However, Gallantmon was soon reborn as Gallantmon X and gave DoruGreymon safe passage to Yggdrasil while joining the battle with the other Digimon against an endless swarm of DexDoruGreymon. Later on, he met with Omnimon X on top of a mountain and revealed Yggdrasil's true intentions in initiating Project Ark.
