- In J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium, Galdor is a common Sindarin name:
- Galdor the Tall, son of Hador, lord of Dor-lómin before the Nirnaeth Arnoediad, married to Hareth, father of Húrin and Huor, brother of Gundor and Glóredhel. See House of Hador.
- Galdor of the Havens, in The Lord of the Rings, an Elven lord of the Grey Havens who takes part in the Council of Elrond.
- In The Book of Lost Tales Galdor was also the name of a lord of Gondolin.
