Galbuliformes

An order of birds comprising the jacamar and puffbird families, Galbulidae and Bucconidae. there are 51 species ranging from Mexico to tropical South America.

They are about 20-30 cm long, insect eating and forest dwelling. Their toes are zygodactylous - that is, having two front and two rear toes on each foot.
