[edit] Canonity
The canonity of these books is in question. While the books have never been officially stated as non-canon, there are many facts supporting non-canonity
- The books contain events that counterdict other Star Wars events.[citation needed]
- The books are not in the official Star Wars timeline although it is believed to take place between Episode IV and V given several events in the Star Wars series have not come to pass like the Rebel Alliance moving base to Hoth or the fact that Tash's few meetings with Luke Skywalker happen when he still knows little about the Way of the Force.
- The events in the books are never mentioned in other books with the excepion of Lando mentioning once thinking to buy hologram fun world in a New Jedi Order book.
