Galaktoboureko
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Galaktoboureko (Greek: Γαλακτομπούρεκο) is a Greek dessert made with phyllo dough that is stuffed with a custard (sometimes with a hint of lemon), and baked with a clear syrup. It can also be served with powdered sugar in place of the syrup. The dough can be layered and cut into squares, or rolled into individual 3-4 inch servings.
